There has been a lot of changes to mousetek over the last few weeks, but hopefully we have finally got all the teething problems of the new css team out of the way.

Tonight is the first super sunday cup being held by esl for the game counterstriek source.
8 teams have been selected to compete in a single elimination cup.
This will be mousteks first real test since announcing their new lineup and I can tell you that the team are extremly confident they can do well.
I wish them luck and you can read coverage of the event here, with srctv and demos being uploaded as quickly as I can.

After removing rezz from the roster the team have been keen to get a replacement fro the start of EAS.
Today the search is over and I am pleased to welcome Lewis `loko` Hancock to the team.
He brings great experience having lanned with myself at i-series in newbury with team asONE and I am sure he will fit in nicely with the team, and keep Martin happy with his over calling

After many months of second places, Reason Gaming's CSS team have finally managed to win a title!
Having knocked dignitas into the lower bracket earlier in the day, Reason will certainly have feared a repeat of previous I-Series finals which saw dignitas come from the lower bracket to beat them over two maps.
Finally however a final did go there way, despite a strong come-back from dignitas in the second half. Reason had taken the CT side of dust2 13-2, but somehow the British team managed to even the game up, to push to overtime.
Reason did then manage to put their feet back on the gas so to speak, and managed to win 4-0, taking home their first title since Lan79, 49 weeks ago - and first under the name of Reason Gaming, with this new line-up.

| Tex announce new event with huge cs:s tournament |

Organisers behind The Experience have announced their third event in as many years, taking place this summer.
The event, hosted in Roskilde from July 27th to August 2nd, will host five tournaments, one to be announced each day of this week.
Today the first announcement came in the form of Fifa 2009, offering a cash prize fund of €3,000. While we cannot yet confirm the other four titles, or their prize funds, I think most people will be able to guess two of the tournaments, while the other two might be a little surprising.
In the first of four game announcements TeX.DK has confirmed the presence of Counter-Strike: Source at The Experience.
Running from the 31st July to the 1st of August the tournament boasts a mammoth 10,000 euro prize pool. Tickets go on sale on April the 15th and we’ll be bringing you more information on how to book shortly.

| Starbytes To Host Imperial LAN |

It has been a while since Starbytes, based in Southampton, has hosted a UK LAN event. However on the weekend of July 10th the gaming organisation The Imperial will be hosting their own LAN event there and have extended invitations to some of the top UK teams.
The following teams have been invited, although not all have confirmed attendance at this time:

Dignitas
FM.Toxic
Zen
In addition to the invites there will be room for other teams to sign up. The competition will be BYOC although there will be the option to hire a limited number of PCs at the venue.
There is a guaranteed minimum prize pot of £1200 although The Imperial have stated that this may well be increased with “big announcements to come”.

Today is a double good day for news , as we also are proud to annoucne we have a great player and squad manager in the new exciting game QUAKE LIVE
He goes only by the name of adk and is a close cousin of the STIG from tv's top gear.
We wish him GL in the up coming competitions from what I have seen he is a great pick up for team mousetek.
mousetek will also on the look out for more players to join the rankings in quake live and possibly cod4 aswell, so keep your eyes peeled. |

Mousetek are pleased to announce that they are BACK!
The team is starting with a brand new CEO Christopher 'mgz_' Boggett.
| as a founding member of mousetek I am glad to be back in the managing role, aswell as a player in the new counter strike source team. I hope that I can keep the high regard this team has had in the past and to take mousetek in to the top tiers of European esports. |
